Acme Printing's sales representatives plan daily schedules of customer contacts, by phone or in person and make necessary appointments. They meet with customers and write up detailed specifications of a job on a "Request for Estimate" form. The form is them given to the Estimating Department, to review the estimate and communicate costs to the customer. After the estimate is completed, the sales representative confirms the job matches the estimate and initiate the job by completing the "Order Entry Form".

After the production of a proof, the sales representative presents the proof to the customer to obtain final approval before printing. They also provide job status to the customer as needed. Finally the sales representative reviews the cost sheets to determine the billing price to the customers.
